I've read a lot of Indian books in my childhood. In the maturity had met the Manitou personally.
God as a god, nothing more nothing less. But the arrow from his bow has struck my heart.
I painted 'Manitou Arrow' for you. Maybe you fall in love too?

Sunset, house in the street next to where we live, painted from frog perspective, Veronique one year old. Happy action week in SO36 Kreuzberg West-Berlin, many artists painting, sculpturing, building objects. Loud rock&roll, my daughter slept happily, I was painting with sure hand, knowing the time is limited.
Picture seemed to be happy like friends looking at. Romantic! but still unfinished. When I started to paint a final step, the fence with a barbed wire, my neigbour painter lady wept.
- It was so beautiful! - she said, - you spoil it with cruelty I haven't suspected in you.
Comment? I accept even a barbed wire when fits into composition! Truth.

There was a drastic change of meanings and colours coming with painting 'Spectrals'.
Nothing sentimental or destructive but quite a mind-work.
Every way in painting is one way, no excuse, that's an essence of freedom.
I was living completely free in many ways. Could paint more, alas! one of my freedoms tempered me.
Being free from possessions I could afford only so many canvasses and paints.
