Everything seems to have its own story.
Early eighties I was busy with my creative projects, but, just to earn money for canvas, colours and brushes, I was accepting almost every job, like a redecorating rooms, electric or water installations, building up something or tearing down something else.
One of my best jobs (no dust!) was an Atlas of Man's Anatomy in soft outline drawings.
Half a year of medical studies and drawings ended with sending my work to printers.
Having suddenly quite a lot of time and money I enjoyed new freedom going through the bars and sketching faces.
I concentrated solely on the vibes of my subject, looking into the eyes, not on a face or sheet of paper. Drawing lines was quicker than perceiving them. |
